As part of an effort to mark the one year anniversary of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) and highlight the local impact of Recovery Act programs, Treasury Assistant Secretary Dan Tangherlini will travel to Maryville, Tennessee to break ground on the construction of Coulter Grove Intermediate School funded with nearly $19 million in Qualified School Construction Bonds.

Assistant Secretary Tangherlini, Secretary of State Tre Hargett and local school and elected officials will participate in a school groundbreaking ceremony and be available to the press to discuss how Recovery Act bonds provided the City of Maryville with the low-cost financing needed to construct the new school, and how the state is using millions in Qualified School Construction Bonds for the construction and improvement of schools throughout Tennessee.

Johnson Architecture is excited to be featured in the Fall 2009 edition of Mountain Homes: Southern Style magazine published by Pinnacle Living. The focus of the cover story is a 4,000 square foot private residence located near Gatlinburg, Tennessee that features stunning views of Mount LeConte and warm interior accents of local stone and timber within. The custom home design was completed by architect, Scott Harrop, and complemented by the interior design services of Susan Ward.
